Welcome to the afPE 2021 National Conference website.
This is the first Association for Physical Education (afPE) professional development day emanating from the Taskforce recommendations and afPE’s new strategic plan.
It has been an extremely challenging last 18 months. We must celebrate how the workforce has responded in a creative and innovative way to keep physical education at the forefront, igniting and re-activating learning, the length and breadth of the country.
Join us at our one day conference hosted at the iconic St George’s Park in Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire where you can explore solutions, discuss strategies and network with likeminded colleagues. In addition, we would like to invite you to join us for dinner at our 15th anniversary celebration evening.
The outcomes of the day are to support delegates to improve young peoples’ physical, social, emotional and cognitive well-being as well as creating competent and confident children and young people who can achieve their maximum potential.
There are a wide number of interactive workshops and a range of insightful keynote speakers that will allow you to open minds and change lives. Secure your place today!
afPE will be providing donation buckets around St George’s Park for the Annual Conference on Monday 6th December, supporting Cancer Research. If you have any spare change or silent note donations they would be greatly received.
