Name: Will Swaithes
Target Audience: Head Teachers, Subject Leaders, Primary Teachers, Secondary Teachers, Trainees
Title: Start with the why: unpicking your curriculum intent

Description: Inspired by the work of Simon Sinek, this interactive workshop will help you focus in on the curriculum intent of Physical Education.

As practitioners, all too often we rush to and get bogged down in thinking and planning for what we do in our lessons rather than focusing on the far more important question of why! This workshop will help you reflect on the outcomes you want for your students and as a consequence may challenge some of your current content in terms of relevance and meaning.

Title: Building Your Impact Roadmap: How to engage, enrol and create excitement in young people around PE in education and beyond

Description: You know that PE is a culture, rather than an hour on the field on Thursday afternoon. Despite facing obstacles you work incredibly hard to embed that way of life in your students’ mindset.

This can be frustrating because everyone deserves the lifetime benefits that PE offers. I’m living proof of the impact passionate educators can have and I’ve worked with leaders just like you to help them help students make more meaningful connections with and through PE.

In this workshop you’ll build your own step by step roadmap to making more impact on the lives of the students you serve.
